Chris Joseph- Chris Joseph is a Haitian-American singer-songwriter, community advocate, and MSW candidate at Arizona State University. Blending his musical gifts with a passion for mental health, he creates spaces of belonging for queer Black communities.
His journey began with the Obama Foundation Community Leadership Corps and the City of Phoenix’s My Brother’s Keeper program, leading him to pursue social work. He later supported teens as a high school social worker and now trains in cognitive behavioral therapy at Brazen Therapy Center.
Alongside his clinical work, Chris released his debut EP Flamboyance, a pop-dance celebration of Black queer expression and nightlife. He also co-founded Thyrd space, a salon-style social club hosting intimate gatherings at the intersection of art, identity, and kinship.
