BAF.ip will hold a special vision board session for members and friends to create boards and discuss the following prompts:
There Are Black People in the Future! - “The Last Billboard” in Pittsburgh, PA is a physical reminder of the afro-futurist movement. The project addresses systemic oppression of black communities through space and time by reassuring the presence of black bodies. Will 2026 need that type of energy?
Where Will my Art be in 5 years time? - Art as a career can sometimes requires time and patience to see your hard work appreciated. What will your career look like in 5 years? In 10?
Should Humanity Remember Everything? - If you could upload your life memory into a server would you do it? What would that look like?

More about our work
Art and activism have long been interconnected, each influencing and inspiring the other in powerful ways. Artists have utilized various forms of creative expression, such as painting, sculpture, music, performance art, and literature, to bring attention to social and political issues. Through their artwork, activists can communicate messages, evoke emotions, challenge the status quo, and ignite change in society.
BAF.ip hopes to help develop and support black artists and organizers in Phoenix
